Laal Kaptaan (transl. Red captain) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action drama film[1] written and directed by Navdeep Singh.[2] The dialogues are written by Sudip Sharma.[3] The film is produced by Eros International and Producer Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions.[4] Starring Saif Ali Khan, it revolves around a Naga Sadhu on the hunt to seek revenge. Manav Vij plays the antagonist.
Laal Kaptaan is set to be theatrically released in India on 18 October 2019.[5]

Marketing and release[edit]

The first look of Saif Ali Khan's character from film Laal Kaptaan[9] as a Naga sadhu was revealed on 20 May.[10][11] The official teaser was released by Eros Now on 15 August 2019.[12][13] The official trailer (Chapter 1) was released by Eros Now on 24 September 2019.[14][15] The official trailer (Chapter 2) was released by Eros Now on 28 September 2019.[16] The official trailer (Chapter 3) was released by Eros Now on 1 October 2019.[17]
Previously it was stated to schedule on 6th September. Then it was shifted to 11 October 2019. It is now finally scheduled to be released theatrically on 18 October 2019.[5][18]
